Parents of AS/HFA also AS/HFA?

Anyone on here also Aspie/HFA? I find this is where I come unstuck, my child is at an independent schl for dyslexia/dyspraxia/aspergers & predominantly dyslexic at that. There are only 2 mums I know with kids with Asperger syndrome (Myself & my child have Aspergers) but neither of their mums has Aspergers. As for their fathers, I dnot know if they have to be honest - but it does seem very common for children with autism to have an autistic (whatever type of autism) father rather than mother.
It feels like I'm a 'minority within a minority' quite often!
Anyone have any similar stories?

My dad almost certainly also has Asperger's. I suspect my mom might, but she probably doesn't.

I'm on another forum, which is a small forum, and percentage-wise, quite a few of the parents also have an ASD. Actually, come to think of it, despite that it is small, the nonautistic parents are in the minority.
