Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome and the Irlen Lens System

Forgive me if I am repeating a previous topic, but I am curious if anyone has had experience with the Irlen Lens System with their children or themselves.

My son has EXTREMELY sensitive eyes and several other issues with his eyes, which may or may not require more surgery. But in teaching him to read and watching him at the eye doctors, I believe the Irlen Lens System may help him.

Can anyone share their experience with me if they have tried this?
