I finally received my 2 year old daughter's evaluation report. Her CARS score was noted as 43, where is that on the autism spectrum? I opened the report hoping to find answers but feelbas though I have even more questions now.

I looked at a couple of sources outside Wikipedia, and it seems to agree that any score higher than 30 is considered on the autism spectrum, if that gives you an idea. Scores go up to 60.

However, I will say this: if your caregiver stuck you with a packet of material with numbers on it and no explanations, you need to find a different caregiver. We went through this with our school, who slapped a label of AS on our son and then didn't tell us what to DO.

Autism is a very, very big word that means a whole lot of things. Somebody - a specialist - needs to go through these tests for you and piece out exactly what your child's deficits and strengths are, and to connect you with the resources and therapies you need in order to best help your child.

Our daughter was tested at a similar age originally too, l was told by our specialist that testing is better at around 5 years of age to get a better idea of what is happening for them. So maybe look apon the report as a starting point and l'm sure you will be seeing other specialist along your journey that will insight you more with reports and guidance.
Do you have early intervention where you are, we were told to get our DD into EIP as soon as we could.
