Put up a new video last night featuring my son with autism at the playground.

Definitely losing sleep because of this...the Mrs. makes the video part during the day while I'm at work, then we do the audio at night once the kids are sleeping. Have to do it that way or else they'd be in it!

My son is definitely a big fan! Actually he's woken me up every day since your initial upload asking to see them. He woke up extra early this morning in some sort of half asleep half meltdown state upset that "someone rang the doorbell and they're gone!" To the best of my knowledge no one rang the bell and he was carrying some dream over into real life. Completely irrational state for 20 minutes or so, claiming at first it was the mailman and then the neighbor's children. "The childrens are gone!" Maybe he saw the school bus when he looked for the mailman. Anyway, when he finally snapped out of it he asked for your videos. Because of you he says he likes soup now ... which isn't true. He loves quoting them and acting out his favorite parts.

Wow, I hope this is not too annoying for you! I suppose I should get to work on a new "Mean Fridge" script!

I'm sure he'd love that! It's not too annoying, he has far more annoying antics than that.

Well it's gonna be a continuing series...remember our goal of 100 videos! We have about 16 now and a few more partially finished, including some songs. My rock version of the Alphabet Song will hopefully be ready soon.

Put up another "Life Instructions" video we made with toys.

http://youtu.be/FZNUfLRGSGk

I showed the channel to my friend's son the other day and he was also mesmerized...

That's definitely one of my favorites! My son hasn't seen it yet, he got upset when I tried to show it to him because he always wants to see the fridge videos first, then the elephant with the tooth brush, then bathroom vocabulary etc. I'm sure when he finally decides he wants to watch it he'll love it mostly because it's full of the "you're doing it wrong" buzzer. He loves the buzzer.

Thanks for the feedback! Maybe you should make him a playlist.

He has two new favorites, the Mall and color car videos. He keeps replaying the part where Pokey the horse shows up and insists on me saying "heeeey, wait a minute...." every time.

Cool, glad he is still interested! Turns out we aren't able to do videos daily but we are still trying to do 2-3 a week.

Next one will probably be about shapes and we are talking about a "don't run into the street" type video too like you suggested.

How is he doing otherwise?

Looks like we might finally be getting some home based ABA for my son although it's not nearly as much as we think he needs. The school is adamantly refusing to provide the service so we are pretty much on our own...

He's definitely still interested. He's doing great in some areas like reading, imaginative play and he's very verbal but he still repeats himself a lot and usually doesn't answer questions appropriately. He still has significant behavioral issues and struggles in a lot of areas. Any time we leave the house he doesn't want to stay near to us and runs off - he still lurches towards the street every time a car goes by and talks to strangers. He's happy one moment and angry the next and is oppositional about irrational things. How is your boy doing?

Not sure what to say, really. We were expecting him to start talking more when we came to the US but we've been here more than a year and he still has not progressed much at all. If he tries to communicate he just starts either screaming or crying like a baby. Plus he's still not really interested in anything besides numbers/letters and food...not into TV, video games, nothing that kids usually like.

By the way, did he like the second Mean Fridge video? It doesn't seem to be getting many hits...though if there is demand we can always make #3.
