omg i got a chewer here too! he was really bad with that, i also always had a fear of him choking. when he started occupational therapy, he stopped completely! now for some reason he's doing it again. i just try to remind him not to just because there are a lot of germs on objects and i dont want him to choke or poison himself one day (god forbid!) i agree with tracker with trying gum or hard candy. sugarless ones preferably so he doesn't get cavities. my son also does it when he's bored or concentrating. i try to give him as much physical activity and sensory input as possible throughout the day.

I still chew on pens and such.At college during a lecture, I end up chewing my pen lids.At work, I keep jellybeans and gum in my pocket so I don't chew on my price checker pen.
