We took him comforter shopping to get him a newer and less old comforter. We let him choose it.


Pretty minimal fire risk IMO. They are regulated by UL, the current is low, and I'm sure the material has to be fire resistant. The heat is similar to that of a hot water bottle. Those microwavable heating pads are a good way to warm up, too, although they don't last all night.
