nothing to worry about. NT kids at that age are just starting to figure things out, and our kids are a few years behind dev. SO sounds like a great imaginative kid! My son is 7 and would completely aregue that fact with me as well!

I honestly never read Animorphs XD. My childhood books were mostly the bionicle ones ;p

Aside from that - I think this is just a kid thing.

As everyone else has said, don't worry, it's just normal kid stuff and it might last a little longer in your son's case than the average child. My 7 1/2 yr old is very similar. She's got a vivid imagination too. I expect her to still believe in Santa and the Tooth Fairy, long after her peers have found out the truth. I was 11 years old before I decided the rumours were true.
