Just a vent about in-laws

A few months ago right before my son's autism dx we were in Ikea ordering food. He was going nutty about what he wanted and didn't want and was being super loud and very rude.
My son will have this kind of meltdown a lot in various food ordering places. Usually over something like there is not enough/ too much ice in his drink. He'll get really loud, then yell: "Stop it, you're interrupting me!" if anybody tries to speak to him/ calm him. He'll lose it over the question: "Do you want to try some chicken fingers?" if he happens to not be in the mood for chicken fingers. He'll say: "I HATE CHICKEN FINGERS!! I TOLD YOU THAT! YOU ARE NOT LISTENING TO MY WORDS!! !" I get a lot of 'what a rude child' stares from people. However, it does not work to try and reason with him or point out how rude he is being in the moment.
My inlaws did not speak (they recently passed) English, so I would be spared of any snide comments, if there were any. But, my family is always acting like I have just the rudest, most out of control child. And make comments in front of my son about how much he cries.
Our restaurant issues are if they put a pickle on his plate, a cup of ketchup on the side of his fries or chocolate sauce and whipped cream on his ice cream. (Sometimes we cannot predict this, and we forget to specify, no pickle, ketchup or plain ice cream) He used to shriek whenever these things would happen. Now he just keeps asking why they did it. He has had enough experience of us simply removing the pickle or ketchup and reordering the ice cream that he gets the drill. It still bothers him.
We get the, "Stop interrupting me," whenever my husband tries to talk to me and our som isn't done speaking. The problem is right now, he is never done, So I have to interrupt him to say it is Daddy's turn to talk to me. A work in progress...

Same exact thing. He is never finished speaking and will scream "You're interrupting me! I wasn't done speaking" even when he actually interrupted us. He will go up to kids who are in the middle of a conversation, start talking over them then scream that they won't let him speak if they try and finish the conversation they were in the middle of.
