What tempature is the water? I CANT shower in cold water, I mean I like it about 150-170F. It feels so much more conferbal. Try changing the water temperature, ask her if she likes it more.

If I could I would shower for hours and meany times a day, but I find it the most relaxing place in the world. If she has music she likes let her bring a stareo in there and play it while she showers.

She won't take a bath. She won't use any deodorants at all. She doesn't seem to mind the smell of her shampoo or soap. I think it has more to do with the fact that she has one routine at my place and another at her dad's place. I think I have a easier time because I have a cat.

I've always liked taking baths since i was young.
I'd feel dirty if i went to work without a shower in the morning.
Maybe you should explain to them how dirty it is if they don't shower/bathe every morning ?
Tel them they'l smell like a hobo that would have worked for me :P

My son is 24 and I still have to remind him to shower on days he does not go to work. I use the direct approach, "dude you reek"! I have had less trouble getting him to brush his teeth ever since we read an article about how dental hygiene afects heart and even more so kidney health. One grandma had heart trouble and the other had to be on dialysis for kidney failure. So getting him to brush is a lot easier now. As for showering, if we get in the car to go somewhere and he stinks, I have turned the car around and made him get clean before we went somehwhere enough times that it is no longer an issue. It has been so great to read about other peoples experiences. I thought I was the only one going thru this. This site has been a real boon to me! Thank you all for sharing your expreiences.
