We do limit his access to video games. He is not allowed to play on school nights and we let him play in small bursts several times a day on weekends. We communicate these durations for him. But I still think he hopes for more.
He did tell me he wants to try Tae Kwan Do but I am not sure he was really interested. I've mentioned it since and he seems ambivalent.
Funny you should mention robotics...he'll be learning that this year in school and LOVES Legos. He also loves his 1st grade computer programming class, so I am checking into what we can do with that.
Tomorrow I hope to get him to the Y to see if he wants to swim.
