Has she been more overwhelmed since she was sexually assaulted? I would be worried this might be really hard for her.

Also if she is struggling more, there is often counseling available for sexual assault related issues on a very prompt basis. Certainly won't address the long term problems you were already dealing with but might help some.

When people tell me weird things I've learned usually to repeat it back and agree, sometimes they even soften their position. But yes, very agitating.
