I got yucky medicine to drink cause I was told I was unwell. It was antidepressants. What child is depressed at 8? Yes antidepressants are used for ocd I think? And autism?

A lot of kids are depressed at 8. Depression doesn't have a minimum age. I was very depressed at 8 because I'd been sexually abused several years earlier and was currently going to a school where I got emotionally abused every day.

A lot of adults like to pretend kids don't have real problems or real feelings, but they do. And they have far fewer tools to cope with the problems they have.
