not really, there was 4 sketchy articles around the time of the murder, not a lot known, if you do a search on "Gerard Fleming" at the Sydney Morning Herald or on the net you might get something. It's unclear what the motive was, he did share a few beers with one of these teens and they got him into a toilet block and there was something untoward went on there, I think they got him to pull his pants down and then thought they were being propositioned. It's unclear whether he was homosexual or not, his family say not, but the gay community made some not very credible claims that he was. I'll post more details when it gets to court. Manslaughter sentences are light here. I think it's something like 4-8 years. As juveniles they may get even less.

I think a life sentence is better than just shooting them. They'll have time to suffer. :twisted:
