in case you didn't know what the Vineland is:

"the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales sets the standard for measuring personal and social skills used for everyday living. This assessment provides critical data for the diagnosis or evaluation of a wide range of disabilities, including mental retardation, developmental delays, functional skills impairment, and speech/language impairment. Vineland has also been proven to be an accurate resource for predicting autism and Asperger syndrome, among other differential diagnoses. "

you can go here to download a pdf of a sample printout from the test.

auria, I don't really know of any ideas as to how to help your kid, but I want you to know that I do feel for you.

Even though I wasn't a parent, I still remember how hard it was for me to get the accomodations I needed.
