I agree with BEE BEE on this one. She sure sounds like she has suicidal ideation.. The question is has she formulated a plan. She definitely needs an evaluation by a psychiatrist.
The fact that she tried to cut herself with the glass leads me to believe that there is definitely a plan. If she ever escalates and trieds to hurt herself. You need to take her to your closest hosapital for evaluation. They could very well admit her to stabilize her and begin some medication.
Does she have a therapist?
This situation worrys me.

with the lady that said get a multidisplinary evaluation. We had a neurospych down at one point and also an entire workup by a team specializing in autism. For years I was told my daughter had a nonverbal learning disability until age 14 when her differences needed to be explained better.
Middle school can be brutal and that is where the differences are very apparent socially etc. She was put on medication and has done much better. It has been baby steps but there is progress with socialization etc. She attends a community college.

This thread is almost as old as WP itself. It's been dead for 9 years.
