awwww, I can see why you are so proud! What an fab musician you have- and it is so cool to find your passion when you are young like that. I was about that age when I found my musical talent, and it has really enhanced my life and is something really calming to do when I am stressed out.

BTW, I am from Newquay! Pleased to see another Cornish girl on here :) Live in the US now, but will never lose my west-country burr apparently ;) x

Sorry, I'm repeating this question because I really want to know!

Your son gives me hope about my son. I just want him to find something that he's passionate about someday so he'll have.... something.

So far he seems more like me. Intensely interested in something for awhile, gets bored, finds another interest.

He's only 6, so there's no need for me to worry about this.... still... I'd like to know so I remember that Tenzin has time to find "his thing".

Congrats!! ! to the guitar playing wizard.

I love your infectious enthusiasm jeli!

So sorry for delay!! He started playing just 2yrs ago. He started on my older sons 3 string Telecaster with a tiny practice amp in the garage. 2wks later I heard Sweet Child of Mine blaring out, and it wasn't a CD!! !! From there on in the rest is history.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE will you click into this link , David has entered a Zakk Wylde competition. There are many many excellent entries, most from musicians much older and that have been playing for longer. Many of the entries are recorded in studios. However David wanted to show what he could do RAW. This recording was taped on my Blackberry with no special effects. Just a 15yr old Aspie playing with passion in his bedroom. How simple can that be.
For those of you not familiar with shredding, it is an aquired taste!! If you want more melodic tones check out some of his other youtubes! But for this competition it was a must. It goes on hits so PLEASE PLEASE CLICK IN AND SEND TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!! This is sooo important to him, I can't tell you. Thanks in advance.

Wow, thank you for posting that, and to David: BRILLIANT! Absolutely brilliant!

You have inspired me to help my Aspie daughter find her special talent...something she can can be proud of. Thank you!
