PS- In your happiness to have your mom on your side, don't forget the point that started this thread: you don't really trust her judgment. Continue to trust YOURS, but don't let her optimism and enthusiasm push aside your more pragmatic instincts. It can be very easy to get caught up in it when someone is affirming what you want to hear more than what you think is really right.

Do enjoy the adventure, and win or lose I don't think you will regret this gamble. Just don't let your mom persuade you when you've got something nagging you to be more cautious.

I will, thanks :) . I am kinda chomping at the bit to get this semester over with. Then I can take an easy semester, and then off to the big city :D . I am getting more optimistic as we speak haha. I have been cynical staying here, but feel a tad more upbeat about things. The job total here as dropped from 120 to 99, while the new city has actually added 21 positions in a day! I feel pumped. In any case, I am excited. Just to wait until then. ^_^
