Melin, Keep on trying!
Please take care of yourself!
I can so understand what you're facing with regard to the eating issues. Baby J is the same way and it can be so exhausting trying to get him to eat healthy foods. He also suffers with the constipation.
Maybe you work on getting your little one to take a multivitamin like Flintstones Complete and/or Calcia? I know it's not the best thing to resort to vitamins, but it's better than not having them.

My son's paediatrician said that giving my son vitamins made me feel better so I should keep giving them to him!

My 11 yo son has got a major issue with sunscreen. He hates it...especially on his face. It makes him crazy. But he has fair skin and likes to be outside. The new "spray-on, quick-dry" sunscreens have been a godsend, but getting sunscreen on his face is a nightmare. To let you know how much he hates it....he actually considered passing on a trip to Disney if it meant he was going to have to wear sunscreen everyday.

He also get terribly chapped lips and can't stop licking them but he has a similar aversion to chapstick/neosporin. I get around that by smearing it on at night after he is asleep or threatening to take his beloved PS2 away.

Summer is right around the corner and so is the never-ending battle.

My son hates sunscreen too... but thankfully he seems to have inherited my skin. (I've never gotten a burn, and I don't even turn red in the sun... but I don't tan either.) So, baby J gets away without having to use it. When he was under a year- I would insist, but now we make him wear a hat in the summer. He ONLY wears long sleeved shirts and long pants, so he doesn't need sunscreen on his arms or legs.

He does suffer from really dry skin in the winter... and I have now finally worked it into his shower routine. But, if any how I try to go anywhere near him with a lotion bottle at any other time- he runs in the opposite direction.
