I looked at my daughter's old IEP's. Her Goal is always listed as : She will increase math reasoning skills to 80 percent of grade level material. Then there were Objectives/benchmarks.. Will be able to add/subtract fractions, will solve one step equations using variables... Etc.. Goes on for a couple more specific areas. This one was from 6th grade. Of course would be different depending on the age if the child. Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but thought I'd give you an idea. I'm glad they seem to be more helpful at the school!
