What's wrong with telling your parents you're bored? I never got a consequence for saying it. Let's just say it never changed anything when my brothers and I said it. It didn't make our parents drop everything they were doing and leaving with us because we didn't like being there and having to wait. Yeah I know how it really feels as a child, it's pure torture and after a while you can't be patient anymore so you start to act up and you are running around. That is why you should always try and hire a baby sitter when you have to be in those situations and sometimes parents don't have a choice or they don't realize how long it would take. Car trips, nothing you could do about it and let's say it didn't magically cure our boredom when my brothers complained about being bored in the car. Complaining about being bored as a child does not fix anything unless you have a parent that easily gives in and always drops what they are doing and leaves. But there does come times when you do have to leave when your kids are bored because they are being disruptive and you don't want other people being bothered by it and yelling and screaming at your kids isn't going to do you any good. Also it does make you stressed out as well and you can't relax and have as much fun with your kids acting that way.

Oh never mind, I get it, parents will just try and give their kids something to do and it's things they don't want to do.
