So, autism never existed before vaccination? It may have had many different names over the ages but it's
always been here and the proportion of the population who are autistic probably remains pretty stable.
The apparent "epidemic" is simply due to the fact that autism is now recognised as a conditon and consequently more people are being diagnosed with it. The spike in numbers also contains many adults who have had autism all of their lives, but were not diagnosed in the past because nobody recognised what their condition actually was. Once this backlog of formerly undiagnosed autistic adults has been dealt with the number of diagnoses will decrease and stabalise.
