Anyone here have children that are under the age of 11? I'm trying to find a board game that is very popular amongst children. I was thinking of getting this board game for my cousins for Christmas time. Does anyone know this game? One of my cousins has autism.

I don't know the game but it sounds fun and seems like a game that doesn't exclude anyone (always a good thing in game for groups family or otherwise).

My AS son is totally into complex games like Heroscape or Dungeons and Dragons. Anything fantasy. I would say these became his preference by age 10 or so. At younger ages he enjoyed Battleship and Stratego. He also enjoys, and is really good at, Monopoly.

My NT daughter, who is 9, is the one who goes for the question and answer games, the mime games, and movement games like Twister.

It rather depends on the interests of the unique children.

Catan (http://www.catan.com/) is, quite seriously, the best boardgame ever. Equal footing for kids and adults: No violence, just a race to grow, with luck being as good as, or better then strategy. Basically a tiny little turn based strategy game, but SO awesome!
