Parents,

I thought I would do a plug for my blog on this board because my goal is to give parents a possible insight into Asperger's that a lot of people aren't able to express. I've had many comments to me that "wow, I never knew..." and "I'm beginning to understand my child more..." While this isn't 100% the norm as each case of autism is just one case of autism (we are so unique!).

My blog is somewhat new (started in March) but I've got 39 posts already. I also try and do a Q and A each Friday and invite questions from parents on that.

If you view my blog I do hope you enjoy it as my "special interest" now is to raise as much awareness as possible on what life on the spectum is like.

Hi fellow Missourian.

Wow. You write allot. I used to blog, but it was never more then 3 sentences a day, so it never really caught on. I 'll have to go back and read when i have some more time.

It's somewhat funny that I do write a lot. Growing up I hated to read and REALLY hated to write. Free writing pieces in 7th grade were cause for many a sleepless night.

Then, after I was diagnosed, one night I just started to write, and eventully I had my first book. Writing is an outlet that allows me to say what I can't speak and as insightful as it is for others, it allows me to communicate with the world so I guess it is a win win situation.
