I was just at Whole Foods and picked up a copy of Gluten Free Living. This issues has both an article explaining the differences between celiac disease, gluten intolerance, and gluten sensitivity, and an article on the GFCF diet and autism.

I am not promoting the diet as a cure all for everyone, if you are considering the diet, these articles are excellent starting points.

What is the date on the issue?

Thanks for the info! As you know, we get a lot of questions on it.

Issue number 2/2010.
I am referring to "Gluten-Free Living," which is a different (but affiliated) magazine from "Living Without."

Yep, the gluten free/casein free/PROCESSED FOOOOOOD diet is almost a cure.

I had ADHD/ADD/autism whatever, my whole life. Now I don't need to stim, less depression and anxiety thanks to my diet.

You are what you eat

Thanks!

I agree it's not a cure, but I think for some it can help. My husband and I are both Aspies and we both have a sensitivity to Gluten. I actually get digestive issues and a general foggy feeling (like I'm hungover) and my husband just gets the hungover feeling (but worse than me). We both feel much better eating GF (we don't have any issues with Casein though).
