What type of help do you want? You can't do much in terms of medication without insurance or medicaid. Even if you have insurance, only certain doctors will take that insurance.

you could start with your pediatrician or physician and see what they reccommend....

Is there any financial help out there? I feel he just needs social skills....coping. However, I am not a dr.
One day he's on cloud nine..hyper, in a great mood. The next day he's down, like his favorite dog got hit by a car.
He keeps asking this girl at work to go out w/ him. She doesn't like him in that way. He doesn't get the hint. Last nite he just got soo upset, trying his hardest not to cry. He just shook and yelled "I have No body!"
Kids will talk to him at work, but at school they totally avoid him, from what he says.

does he have a physician?...in order to get much of the help that's out there, you need to start on the road towards a diagnosis

I'd start with the school shrink --- at least that was the one who rounded me up all the time

If that does not work try the family doctor. Try looking at the deffinitions of aspergers, etc on google before you call. Often doctors need help.

After that not sure but most developmental disabilities are only covered for kids -- although my health insurance kicked in for speach pathology.
