Has anyone homeschooled with the K12 program? I'm exploring options in the event I will be homeschooling soon. I was wondering if this program is worth looking more into.

Thanks!

We just started with the K12 program this school year for 4th grade. My DD and I like it a lot. Depending on your child, it does require a fair amount of guidance. One of the nice things is that the academic program can be adjusted for your child's individual needs. They also have a SPED team that can take over the IEP and they conduct a rudimentary social skills class, as well as other services, online.

You can PM me if you have specific questions :D....

I visit a homeschoolers forum and hear lots about different programs. It's: www.secularhomeschool.com - you may want to search there for feedback.

What I have heard is that it can be hit or miss depending on where you are and how you are accessing them. I have heard that it is a fairly structured school at home program, which resembles school but done at home. Homeschooling can look very different from typical school - if you would like to vary from the school curriculum, this may not be a best fit.
