For the first time in 4 years....

We drove home (about 20 minutes) with the two front car windows open - all the way open at 30 to 40mph.

Oh, the freedom I felt!! !

A sensory issue banished I'm supposing?
Nice.

I don't even have sensory issues and I cannot stand that in the backseat - What feels pleasant in the front, is a whirlwind in the back!

We had a similar breakthrough last night at our house though. My son won't let us use the hairdryer (too noisy). But a couple years ago I had gotten a professional quality one that is very, very quiet. Last night, he got brave and tested it on his hand first, and then, if he could hold it with me, he would let me dry his hair - which was good because he's overdue for a haircut, it was late and he needed to go to bed, and he has a cold and our house is cold at night and I wasn't wanting to put him to bed with wet hair. Now, this "monster" hairdryer is fun and tickles - go figure.

Probably depends on the car etc, but i've found if you have the window directly behind the one which is open, open also, at least a crack then it helps.
