Moving soon; what to look for in a new school district?

My 4 year old son was recently given an educational autism diagnosis. I am pleased so far with the services offered by our current school system which is 5 days of preeschool with speech and I think what they call occupational therapy. Unfortunately, he will not be able to attend this school district for long before we have to move to the Peoria, IL area. Do any parents or others out there have any tips on what to ask the area school districts to try and find out which ones may be more supportive for our son? Or even better if anyone has experience in the area they could share I would really appreciate it.
