Hi every one.
It's been a long time since i've been on here as J was doing really well in senior school and i guess i forgot the basic's to living with an Aspie (i dont mean to sound horrible).
I think the last time i posted was 3 or 4yr's ago, i got so much help and advice from you guy's which i put into practise and got great results, thank you.
I'm back to square one again and i dont have a clue what to do..i'm at my witt's end.
J will be 15yr's in march this yr.He had quite a good transition from junior school to senior school and we've had a better than exspected good 1st few yrs, i got complacent and thought the bad time's were over...how wrong was i..i allowed for hormones kicking in but he has been an arse lately (either being expelled or is in isolation at school).Myself and my husband have tried talking to J in a calm manner and also screamed and shouted at him..we dont seem to get through.I have spent many hrs talking to j's speacial need's teacher..doe's it help... no.
J and i have never been close altho i have tried really hard with this...i blame my self alot for the way he is...may be a more mummsy type of mum may be the ansewer... i have fought his case all the way and finally got results thanks to you lot....now i just want to give up!

Ugh. So sorry that things are going badly for you. Your son must feel awful, too.

I hope you find the help you need and are able to make things better.

Don't blame yourself. You are the best kind of mother a kid can have - one who cares. Obviously, caring doesn't automatically make things go smoothly but in the long run, I think it is what makes the most difference for children. Remember, this too shall pass, really it will.
