Recently, I've been hearing a lot of commercials on the radio for Boost Kids. They always start with: "Do you remember how hard it was growing up?", and continues into a sales pitch and a pseudo-testimonial about how someone's daughter was having trouble mastering basic people skills until she tried Boost Kids. So it's basically a social skills training program.

I checked their website www, boostkids, com (commas replacing dots to thwart webcrawlers), and found out that it's a set of books and DVDs. They even have sample texts and videos on the site. The program seems to be geared most heavily toward ages 8 to 12. I thought it was pretty good; it'd have definitely helped me when I was that age, because those were the worst years of my life.

I'm not a parent, have no intention of becoming one in the near future, and possibly never, but given how often I heard those commercials on the radio, I'm curious if any parents on here tried Boost Kids and what the experiences were like. So if you tried it, post your thoughts.
