I know this might sound bad, but I need to not care...........

Lately, I feel as if I'm the mother of an adult toddler in his terrible threes! 8O

That is all.

I needed to say it to people who might have understanding and sympathy.

I will go on a limb and assume that you are the mother of an adult on the Autism Spectrum and that your son has some self regulation difficulty and behavioural issues that go along with that.

If my assumption is correct - you have my empathy and my understanding. BTW - I don't give sympathy. There is an old saying, "I would rather be pissed on than pitied." Sympathy is condescending. Empathy is shared between equals.

As a mum of a child on the autism spectrum - you have my empathy and understanding.

Whether I ascertained your particular situation correctly or not - feel free to mini-vent (or maxi-vent) anytime you want.

Sometimes all we really need to do is to be able to say it.

And you did.

Hope things go better for you.
