Sorry this is kinda long, but I really need advice. To begin me and the young adult both have AS(hes a bit more severe in some areas then me). Im also an adult.
Thanks for taking the time to read, and thoughts/advice is gladly appreciated!

I need ideas for chore lists for a young charge/ adult in my Autie group. He doesnt do much at home no matter what his parents do, so they brought it up earlier(with his permission) and I said Ill ask here so again: any ideas?

He can walk, talk, and think(hes pretty smart and likes the same things I do), though he has troubles* He hasnt been able to maintain a job(even with awareness) hes had 3 each time walked out because he couldnt do what the boss asked evven tho it was simple. Its the same at home, his parents have tried everything to try and help him(hes just givin up and just gets into fights with everyone and anyone cause he just does nothign but play games now) and its gotten to the point where his parents want to put him(and have started) the process into putting him into a group home with ppl more severe then him(his rents and him recognize this and have come to me) and his parents like my chore list but its too hard for him.
He needs things kinda like a little child does(ie step by step with pictures I think)?, and my chore list though its simple(for me) I dont have alot of things like I did when I was younger(ie steps with pictures) I do have some things step by step and hes tried these things and has some success with my list but he had a meltdown with it cause he was doing it everyday and it got to much for him(making his bed, and doing the trash). *Basically put his self help skills are in dire need of RAPID improvement.

As for me I need some advice about handeling chores with change of work/daily schedule? Its really frustrating(and not fair of me to get mad) cause Now instead of working Monday-Friday 9:30-12:30 with the occasional Saturday and Sunday hours(usually 12:30-5 both days)(I work in a library)

I now have Tuesdays/Saturdays 9:30-12:30 at a closer library and Thursdays 9:30-1:30 and now Fridays 9:30-2:30. Thats my current schedule. I also sometimes have the same extra weekend hours. Then theres online school starting up....(15 hours a week plus homework), and appointments?

I really liked my old 9;30-12:30 it was more stable routine, but since the new schedule at work(usually on the Thursday and Friday days)have really thrown off my chores schedule. My old chores schedule(besides appointments) was usually get up, eat, dress, shower, put on fresh clothes, deodarant(etc) make bed, clean room, do dishes, then after work in the afternoon:empty dishwasher, water plants, feed/water animals, do the trash, redo dishwasher and of course eat: evening generally do laundry, vacuum(2 rooms a day), mow the lawn(again 1 sumtimes 2 lawns a day)dust, sweep floor, windex, shower, pack lunch/make sure lunch/all things are ready for the next day at work, put out fresh clothes for next day/shoes.

With the new work Schedule its really throwing me off my regualar chore routine(the stuff I mentioned are just examples of some of the things I do, I do more) considering after Thursday and Friday Im too tired to do anything then when I get recharged I cant get all the normal stuff I usually do done, and this affects my family(which isnt fair to them). Then Im sure online school is going to throw my chore schedule up/make it more frustrating considering Im going to be putting in 3-4 hours a day Monday, and Wednesday(Tuesday and Saturday probably 1-2 hours). Not sure about Thursday and Friday school hours? (Im doing online school soon as stated above)
Pls I need some advice!
