When I went through the book lists I didn't see many ideas for skill training....
My son loves little books that teach him skills...
I knew I saw a book on the net that gives small illistrated drawings and one sentence andvise on conflict management...It's like a "what to do if..." type of book.
Does any of you have any ideas on this type of literature...?
Thanx

That almost sound like a "social story" or visual support type thing - Here is a link with lots of those - http://kidscandream.webs.com/page12.htm. I don't know of any books like that, but I'm sure they're out there. I have some other really nice links, but unfortunately I don't have time now to find them (messy bookmark tab). I'll try to find them later today. If you google social story or visual support, you'll find a lot of them. Hope this helps.

This isn't a "little" book but I recently purchased Social Stories from the Gray Center:
http://www.thegraycenter.org/social-stories

It is full of stories relating to various life skills. However, the stories may be for older children who can read, or for the parent to use and adapt to their child's age.
