This may be a general internet question, but I see being used here more than the other boards. What do "ds", "dh" stand for? It's driving me nuts?

I think DS and DH mean 'dear son' and 'dear husband' respectively.
thanks, I could tell it meant husband and son in some contexts, but I didn't know the d was for. I had previously seen it in the context of mixed marriages or divorces-and thought it had to do with that?
