Watching leaves on trees

Does anyone elses child watch leaves on trees blowing in the wind..a lot? Pretty much my sons favourite activity is to sit at the window looking at the trees intently when the wind is blowing, and its been this way for a few years. E.g. he will be watching number jacks which he loves and holds his attention, but if its windy, he'll bail after a minute or two to sit at the big window and watch the trees (I guess its the equivalent of a massive flatscreen ).
Also when we go to the park he watches the long grass moving in the wind and will even get the giggles..at the grass .
It is actually a distraction when he has ABA, they have to pull the curtains sometimes.

..just idle thinking on my part, wondering if many others are like this.

I find it so soothing to watch the wind blowing trees and grass. I can get lost in it.

I guess if you get your mind to a very chilled out state it would be quite soothing to just watch that. Many people like looking at the sea in stormy weather, I do.

I read the book below last year, the boy in that also did the same thing as my son, and my son also does as the title says, litterally smiles at shadows.

Yes ... I love watching waves roll in - it's so rhythmic and peaceful.

Smiling at Shadows sounds good - everything is part of the picture.

Watching repetitive things is like having your mind stroked. It's like a visual mantra.

Sometimes the thought has crossed my mind that he might think they are alive. I've seen him get scared when the trees move a lot, big eyes, hands holding onto my arm very tightly.
