Anyone know about Interactive Metronome or have tried it on themselves or kids? It expensive but supposed to help with concentration, impulse control and slow processing.

Both of my kids have tried it (one with AS/HFA and one with ADHD). I am not sure I have seen any real changes from it. I know that their scores on the IM improved DRAMATICALLY over the 15 visits they did. However, I don't know if that translated into changes in other areas. I do know of another child with AS whose mother says that IM was one of the best things they did for her son.

In our case, our medical insurance was willing to cover IM as an out-of-network claim. So, check into insurance if you decide to do it.

I wish I had better news. I am hopeful that it helped build some foundations so that other things might help more.
