What I love about it is that not only does she list all the annoying things that IEP and school teams say to parents that aren't true, she also lists the corresponding law and resources to combat these statements. I hope this helps anyone who's struggling with their child's education (and I wish I could say that none of the comments applied to me, but, yes - our school tried several of these tactics.)

Thanks for that. #10 is exactly what we were told. Months later, we are having more meeting trying to find something that will work to get DS to engage in some part of the school day besides lunch and PE.
Wow, I have only heard one of those once in all the IEP meetings I've attended. Never heard any of the rest of them, and I'm honestly surprised they are being said somewhere. That's really sad.
We've had #10, #8, and a modified version of #5. I am noting that our State and in particular nearby municipalities is mentioned repeatedly in the comments.
