Since I post here most often I thought I would post this here and maybe it can get spread around. Some of you who know me know Ive been going through a really rough time. I lost my oldest son, I now have two bone diseases, Ankylosing spondylitis that fuzes mainly your Sacro illiac area and your spine, my SI joints and parts of my spine are fused and deformed, it is very painful. I also now know that I have Elhers Danlos syndrome type III (this could change after they do my Echo cardiogram and other tests, I may have a different form as well). This is a connective tissue and bone disease, I have the hyper flexible type and I have stretched my tendons and muscles so much that they are now torn and destroyed in some areas. My joints fall out of place....they sort of "float" in the socket, this is also very painful.....loosing my son is the most emotionally painful thing I have ever experienced and I doubt if I will ever be the same but Im trying to be positive for the rest of my kids and for myself.

I know that there are a lot of anti bullying for gay kids who are committing suicide. I think we need a video for kids with Autism and Asperger's....If anyone wants to participate you can write (maybe with a pic of yourself or something your drew) of why you are HAPPY to have ASD. You can also make videos. All showing what makes you glad and why its not all dismal. I would also like things from the older aspies and auties showing that WE CAN succeed in life to show the younger kids it is possible and not only for Temple Grandin. I think this needs to be made for not only us but so society, even if it is only a small part, sees who we really are, how we are all individuals and how amazing we can be.

If you are interested in participating please email me at [email protected] You can email me with questions or just send what you want. When I finish the video I will send it only to the people who contributed and if everyone is happy with it we will go public. I always put the block on the comments so that they are only posted with my consent and I also block the voting so no one has to worry about anyone saying anything bad about you or your child. Anyway, lets get creative :)!
