Hello Fellow Aliens,

We are considering moving to Bristol, UK from Texas, USA. My child has been diagnosed with mild-to-moderate autism. He is currently on a daily programme 8:30-to-4:30 at an ABA clinic (shapeofbehavior) . The daily activities include ABA based on a ABLSS assessment, group activities and a nap time.

We are full-time working parents. We will probably place our child in a nursery during our work hours. How can we ensure our son gets adequate therapy in Bristol?

Migrants from USA, if you can share any experience, we would be grateful. How long does it take to enroll our child into the system and start therapy? Can we start the paperwork etc from here before we land in UK?

Any help is really appreciated.

Thank you all in advance,
