trying to help my friend son

i have not been on this forum for a long time, so i'm sorry for coming in firstly and posting something like this, but i am just trying to do a favour for a friend of mine. he is trying to raise enough money to help his who is non-verbal by getting him some equipment to help him tell them his needs, ect. i know, we are not rich and i am not asking anything really, i just wanted to help him get this out to people who would really understand why he needs this for his son. he is a good man, he is just out of work right now and having a hard time just getting by. thanks for looking.
