My son will 7 next month and he still likes PBS kids. Arthur is one of the shows on it and it's mostly about social rules, feelings and family relationships. Aboutface is an online game that "tests" you for your understanding of facial expression of moods, and their context.
For example, "D.W.'s friends jumped out and yelled, 'Happy Birthday!' How is she feeling?"
and three different facial expressions are given with their labels.

BTW, Arthur is populated with anthropomorphized animals, they're people with animal features but hands and feet. It's kind of weird but it allows you to focus on the stories rather than the appearance and it sneaks in diversity.

Maybe some HOECS games might be a good idea.

(sniggers and lies in wait for the reference to be discovered)

It's an obscure reference to a satirical TV programme called Brass Eye. Numerous TV presenters were completely fooled into saying ridiculous things like "HOECS games", sniffing keyboards and so on.

I have nothing constructive to contribute to this thread. It was a moment of silliness. Do carry on. :D

Yeah, you gotta watch for us Yanks, we're allergic to irony and humour. :o
Nick Jr. has some decent games too, Lazytown actually is like a Simon Sez/chutes and ladders for exercise! It's funny seeing my son on the computer with headphones getting up to leg lifts.
