Hello all. I remember reading a book several years ago about a boy who was a teen in the 1970s right when they first found out about autism, and the experiences of him and his mother. It was called There's a Boy In Here and the young man who wrote in, Sean Barron, grew up to write for one of the local newspapers in my area. It's an excellent read and I highly recommend it to parents of children on the spectrum, especially those recently diagnosed.
