My Son, and his Father had a falling out, and he now has to move out by the end of April.. Does anyone know about places that you pay rent to according to your income? My Son doesn't make a lot of money, and he is having a hard time finding a place to live.. He lives in the Inver Grove Heights area of Minnesota. Anyone out there know of any organizations that may be able to help him?
He is 25 years old, and has Aspergers Syndrome.

Thank You

Elizabeth :)

Be aware that there is typically a long waiting list for public housing, though. You might also want to check and see if the local Department of Human Services has any kind of support for people with disabilities - he may qualify for other kinds of housing support. Also check with your local autism society http://www.ausm.org/ and see if there are any local charities that focus on homelessness - they both might have suggestions on how to help. (here's one: http://www.mnhomelesscoalition.org/ look into the "homes for ll" section.)
