words do come easy...
our 17 yrs old aspie recently spends days mostly at home since he had a little accident while swimming(he got sick and threw up in the water so he got scared thet he would drown).he sleeps a lot, than gets up, takes a shower, eats his usual breakfast, drinks his tea,we do some yoga exercises and he gets his massage(which realy calms him), and that´s all ok. but, as evening approaches, he starts walking around the house and talking, pretty loud,about...school situations...film scenes...he laughs, plays some kind of war games, so to say...when you ask him to be a little more quiet he says...yes, i hear you, ok, i´ll go to my room, ok i´want talk so loud any more, but, you guess, he doesn´t do that.he is realy tall, and has deep voice so one cannot simply ignore it.what to do?does anyone have similar situation?
love, mamamoo
There have been a couple of threads on this recently - for younger kids, but maybe they'll help you:
