Saw this on You Tube...I figured this would be the best place to post it.
It's pretty cute.
I am 37 and am still learning theory of mind...I didn't understand the concept most of my life, but I get it now.
But my parents weren't like this guy. He seems to get it, too.
I believe that we all have this theory of mind, it's just how it's taught to us that's different. Because aspies and auties brains process information differently than NTs, we need to be shown things in a different way in order for them to make sense. For example, I was "taught" math over and over again in school, yet failed tests, because by the time they came around I had forgotten the info I had been "taught". As I got older, though, I learned how to calculate my own way - what made sense to me. It was nothing like the way they showed me in school.

My understanding of other minds so far is that I have it, just not like it is supposed to be.

I'm still looking to/for as much defining information as possible to describe the 'normal' theory of other minds (TOOM)-but, I'm thinking information is scarce!

I really wanted to watch that video. On the web, someone mentioned, 'other minds' as being able to know what's on anothers concious. I am thinking I lack what they want me to know and instead know what is on their subconsious. I am actually grateful for this. I'd rather see what they are not telling me.

to be completely honest, I do not understand what any of this means and clicked the link in hopes to see what others were talking about with regards to theory of mind (I am new to all of this)...but then as you know, it was removed, so I did a search for theory of mind on youtube, and there are some listed there.
