Where would I find a good quiz to see if I have aspergers? When I talk to my mom about issues with my ASD daughter, she says that she saw a lot of the same behaviours in me. Even my aspie daugher thinks I have it. I don't want to go through the whole process of seeing a psychologist for screening, but would appreciate any helpful websites and/or books that might show me if I am or not.

Thanks Willard - I tried out those quizes and they say I don't have it. I think my daughter would have answered a lot of the questions the same way though - does anyone know about a quiz geared to women?

Did you score NT or borderline on them?

I didn't see the test in the middle link.
The first and third links were the same test. I still took it twice 'cause I'm weird like that.
I got scores of 34 and 37. I must have changed one or two answers the second time.
I'm a woman, if that's helpful.

This isn't a test, and might not be of any use to you, but while I don't remember seeing a test specifically for women, Rudy Simone (who you might have heard of, has AS and has written books about it), has a few interesting things on her website about traits she thinks are common among females on the spectrum and possible differences in traits between men and women. http://www.help4aspergers.com/pb/wp_a58 ... d4f6a.html

I went and tried the Asperger's test and I was like, "This looks like something written back in the 50's!" Whoever made it seems to assume that all people with Asperger's are male and children, and it almost didn't tell me I was likely to be autistic until I checked the last two boxes.

Lookinglost - yes I have heard of Rudy Simone, I just read her book Aspergirls a couple weeks ago. It was one of the reasons I wanted to take an aspergers test because a lot of what she was describing was like me growing up.
