I enjoyed this article. The whole getting ready in the morning really resonated. I wonder if Erik was using any medication to help him with his focusing problem??

Absolutely a FANTASTIC article on Asperger's.

The part that really hit home was the "snag" problem, where he gets sidetracked by something SO MUCH that he can't finish homework assignments.

OH YEAH! This is exactly what we're going through with our son right now.

You're welcome Joesmum. That's kind of how I see our future too. Encouraging independence but sitting on the sidelines ready to jump in if he needs extra support.
