hi!
I haven't been around for a while... my son has been keeping me busy:) He is at home full time, but we are getting a lot of help. Nice to see nothing has changed!

Welcome back.

I would really like to work with autistic kids(I am an adult with AS), but dont care for ABA "treatment"....can I ask what kind of help you are getting and what they do to help?Sorry if this is to envassive.I just really want to learn what positive help is given to parents and kids with AU/AS.

first, katrine, welcome back...............next ~ ABA is not the nly method used out there. not really sure what we do at our school is called, but it pretty much comes down to parenting a kid in a consistent manner with consistent rules and consequences.

Welcome back katrine. Glad you're getting the help you need there. All the best.

Hi krex - hope you're doing well. I'm sure you'd make a wonderful difference working with autistic children. All the best with that.

Hi ster - hope you and your family are doing well. Wish I had more time to post, to get to know you all. There don't seem to be enough hours in the day.
