I thought it might be a good idea to have a list of books and resources for parents who need info.
A book review or two might also be helpful :D
Who do I contact to make this a sticky??

Though not a parent, I've read several books by parents of dx'd children:
"The Boy Who Loved Windows" by Patricia Stacey.
"Finding Ben" by Barbara LaSalle.
"The Only Boy in the World" by Michael Blastland.
"One Small Starfish" by Anne Addison.
"Running with Walker" by Robert Hughes.
Just got "Not Even Wrong" by Paul Collins, but haven't read it yet.
I'm adult dx'd w/AS, look for good (sensible to me) info. wherever I can, which includes parts (more or less) of these. I could say more about this or that one, though realize my p.o.v. may not be compatible with that of a parent-what one finds of value or interest in each book is (to some extent) unique to the individual. That list is general narrative/overview stories. Specific issues within ASD's (sensory, motor, and so on) would generate additional lists of related materials.
