I am so proud of my daughter. This school year was dicey at best for her socially and emotionally. She is twice exceptional or gifted/LD. Academics can be a struggle due to her lack of attention. I know how hard she works. In the past her brightness has been ignoed because the teachers did not want to do anything extra. For the first time being recognized for being bright has really helped her self esteem. It's been a long time coming.

Yea! for your daughter. You should be proud!

What a great thing. So often the schools do only concentrate on the weaknesses instead of the strenghts.
